I bought this for the bed, but the second it arrived my husband claimed it. It is so incredibly soft and cozy, but lightweight enough that you don't overheat. It doesn't get that weird rougher texture after washing that some of these fleece blankets get. It's ridiculously soft and so warm and comforrtable. Put it on your bed or couch or wherever you want and snuggle in for warmth and comfort. It's a very high quality product for a very reasonable, even affordable price. If you like high quality products that everyone can afford then this is the blanket for you. This even improved the quality of my sleep. It does have some stretch, but it's not overly stretchy. Believe me, this blanket would be a welcome addition to your home.
