The dress is all one piece. The bottom of the colorful top turns into a belt and belts in the back. The jacket is attached. The blouse closes with snaps (the large buttons are just decorative). It also come with a small square of fabric. perhaps to tuck in the chest "pocket".

This product is great EXCEPT it arrived having melted into the cap and has a grainy texture (photo). I opted to send it back and received my replacement today. Unfortunately, it arrived in the exact same condition. The product has melted into the cap and texture is grainy. I will keep both as the product is great but I won't be reordering until they can figure out how to ship their lip balms without it melting. I've ordered other tallow lip balms and they didn't melt during shipping.
