Hilding was a Swedish Japanese graphic and textile designer and was educated at the Art Academy in Tokyo as well as the Forum School of Graphics in Malm. Hilding's work is notable for its ability to connect both Eastern and Western artistic traditions. Her work can be found represented in galleries and museums throughout southern Sweden. My husband loved these at first. Pros -easy to get on/off -stylish -comfortable -interior/exterior sole construction lasted longer than other more expensive shoes -price is great Cons -after less than a year the mouth of the shoe widened to a point where they slide off way too easy rendering them almost unwearable. -laces cannot be tightened
