I did not find any markings on this one, but I believe they are likely hidden under the thick postwar over paint. I had owned a pile of these at one time and none were post war made. This spare reel is in pretty decent condition; these are normally broken or at least bent pretty badly. This one is ready to clip into backpack cable layer although it would be a good idea to strip and repaint it.
